Stripped back with a rugged build quality, the Origin-AL is aimed at players wanting a no-nonsense bass head that they can take from gig to gig without any size and weight issues. It's punchy 300w output belies its tiny footprint whilst its simple feature set delivers essential appointments that all bass players will appreciate.
The 5-band EQ section gives you control of Bass, Middle and Treble whilst the handy Lo-Mid and Hi-Mid controls give you access to those all important tone shaping mid tones. In addition, the 'Shape' button gives you instant access to Ashdown's 'smiley face' EQ setting.
The front pannel also hosts the Input and Output controls alongside an easy to reach DI output, as well as an independent FX send and return...and is completed with Ashdown's iconic VU meter.
At the rear of the unit is a headphone out and 2 x jack speaker outputs (minimu 4ohm load).
