The Epiphone DC PRO is Epiphones latest re-imagining of a classic model, specifically the classic Epiphone Del Rey Double Cut.
Embracing the original double cutaway, the Epiphone DC Pro features a solid Mahogany body paired with a AAA flame Maple Veneer top, delivering familiar Epiphone warmth and sustain, and a sound that has helped literally define genres, ranging from Blues and Jazz to Rock.
This sound is complimented by the appointment of 'ProBucker' humbuckers, an innovation based on the Gibson 'BurstBucker' pickups, designed to replicate the classic PAF humbucking sound that was so popular in the late '50s. In addition the Epiphone DC Pro features coil splitting, allowing players with the ability to switch one or both of the ProBucker pickups into a single-coil mod, completely modifying the core sound from each pickup.
Player centric features include a treble bleed circuit, preserving your treble frequencies when you lower the guitar master Volume, and a phase feature built into the neck Tone pot. As well as tonal versatility, the Epiphone DC Pro delivers reliable performance with a comfortable 'custom C' shape Mahogany neck, fitted with 24 Medium Jumbo frets, easily accessed due to the double cutaway design. Solid tuning accuracy and stability is made possible with the appointment of Grover 18:1 ratio tuners.
The Epiphone DC Pro is a modern take on a beloved classic, with all the performance and comfort features we've grown used to now applied to a fast playing double cutaway body. A must have for vintage enthusiasts and lead shredders.
