The Epiphone Embassy PRO Bass has been inspired by the rare 60s classic, whilst delivering a selection of modern day appointments.
Originally introduced in 1963, the Embassy Bass was a popular solid body bass. Epiphone have combined the best parts of that model with some key design appointments. The mahogany body now has a slightly longer upper horn for an improved balance, whilst the glued-in mahogany neck features a 2-way adjustable truss rod allowing for the perfect setup.
The neck has a comfortable SlimTaper D profile and is topped with a 12" radius fingerboard which is set with 22 medium jumbo frets and dot inlays.
Epiphone have loaded the Embassy PRO Bass with a pair of Probucker #760 humbucker pickups which have been inspired by the original Thunderbird and Embassy pickups from the 60s. The pickups are wired through a master volume, blend, and tone control electronics section giving you access to a wide range of classic tones.
Other appointments include a modern adjustable Tune-o-matic bridge and a 60s styled “Claw” tailpiece, and 2-a-side premium die cast bass machineheads.
