First introduced in 1942, the classic Gibson J-45 is one of the most popular acoustic models within the Gibson range, and has been used by many legendary musicians since its introduction. Now, thanks to this signature Slash incarantion. you can join the J-45 ranks with all of its iconic looks and tonal qualities.
The Epiphone Slash J45 features an all-solid wood construction, with solid mahogany back and sides topped with a solid sitka spruce top. Its body (a sloped shouldered dreadnought) is finished with in November Burst, which is set off with the 4-ply top body binding, complete with a 1-ply binding on the rear.
Paired to the body is a mahogany neck, carved into a Slash’s personal C-shape neck profile. Topping the neck is a fingerboard set with a flatter, more modern 16" fretboard radius, 20 medium jumbo frets and Mother of Pearl dot inlays. The 2-ply Bell truss rod cover that adorns the headstock comes complete with Slash's Signature
The guitar comes complete with the LR Baggs VTC under-saddle pickup/preamp system, complete with easy access soundhole controls for volume and tone - perfect ready for the stage!
Other appointments include Grover Rotomatic tuners, a 50s style tortoiseshell pickguard and a GraphTech TUSQ nut.
