Faith FKR Naked Mars Acoustic Guitar
Presented with a natural finish, the Faith FKR Naked Mars has a classic drop-body dreadnought design to attract the eye of the more discerning traditionalist. Great sounding guitars with stripped back aethetic and quality materials are what Faith is all about, and they adhere to it here possibly with more success than with previous models!
With an Engelmann Spruce top and Indonesian Mahogany body, the FKR Naked Mars continues to follow Faith's commitment to entirely solid tonewood guitars. The combination creates a resonant low end, powerful yet non-intrusive mid response, balanced out by cheerfully bright treble with great sustain due the light satin finish and lack of non-essential cosmetics and dressings. This allows the wood to truly sing, unrestricted in its resonance.
The X bracing design compliments this tonal balance, boosting the resonance while keeping the guitar sturdy as it ages. An Indonesian Ebony fretboard with 12th fret Mother of Pearl F inlay looks wonderfully minimalist, yet feels like a far higher end model with smooth movement across the whole neck. For its price you can't get much better value for sound and construction quality!
The Faith FKR Naked Mars sounds as a dreadnought acoustic should, and in a climate where 'all rounder acoustic' is thrown around a lot, the Naked Mars truly lives up to the term.
