Description

This Burny RLC-75S 2011 SW electric guitar in snow white finish is a high spec guitar for its price bracket. Boasting a solid Mahogany body topped with curved Maple, the brightness of the Maple meets the smooth low and mid range character of the Mahogany for a well balanced core sound. The set neck is also constructed from Maple, with the addition of a 22 fret Rosewood fretboard to further round out the frequency balance with a splash of treble and enhanced mids. Appointed with a single cutaway in the body, accessing the highest frets is an easy task, and can be done at speed with a highly comfortable low profile modern C shape to the neck back.

Fitted to the body is a HDP-200 sustainer pickup in the neck position, and a FVH-2002S humbucker in the bridge. These pickups combine harmoniously to provide a wealth of tonal versatility, from high gain, punchy tones with masses of sustain, to mellow, warm bluesy tones, and everything in between. They both articulate notes with great fidelity, however the sustainer is more focused on its job, preserving the sound you make for huge fade outs or pronounced chords, while the humbucker provides more of the oomph to get the powerful core sound going in the first place.

The guts of the Burny RLC-75S are where the guitar sets itself apart from the crowd. Featured controls include your standard master volume and master tone knobs, a 3 way pickup toggle selector, plus a built-in independent sustainer and feedback circuits. These allow you to instantly inject some extra sustain to your signal to keep huge notes and chords ringing out for ages, or boost your feedback frequencies for on demand harmonic feedback to create crazy sounds in the vein of Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain and many others.

Additional features include a stopbar tailpiece with adjust-o-matic bridge for precise intonation and great tuning stability. Gold plated hardware adds a welcome burst of flash to the sleek white aesthetic.

The Burny RLC-75S 2011 SW electric guitar is a fantastic instrument, particularly with its price point in mind. Excellent quality, versatile sound, attractive appearance, comfortable playability and some inspired electrical appointments with the sustainer and feedback circuits make this kind of model a must have if you're a learning or composing guitarist still working with basic spec instruments!
