The Patina PS-4 is a classic double cutaway electric guitar that features a versatile HSS pickup configuration and a selection of premium appointments, including a nitrocellulose finish, stainless steel frets, and a quarter sawn roasted maple neck, all normally reserved for instruments that cost considerably more!
With its classic double cut shape, the Patina PS$ oozes vintage charm. The Paulownia body is hand-finished in genuine nitrocellulose lacquer (normally found only on vintage and high-end guitars), which breathes and ages honestly, with wearing and checking becoming uniquely yours!
Paired with the body is a quarter sawn, roasted maple neck - another appointment usually only utilised on high-end/custom guitars. The neck has Modern C profile and a satin finish which instantly makes you feel at home, providing a comfortable, smooth playing experience. Topping the neck is rosewood fingerboard, with a modern 13.75" radius, set with dot inlays and premium stainless steel frets. The handy luminous side dots keep you oriented on those dark stages!
The guitar is fitted with a modern HSS pickup configuration, with a powerful humbucker loaded at the bridge paired with single coils in the middle and neck positions. These custom, hand-wound Alnico V pickups are wired through the traditional Volume, Volume, Tone control setup (with premium Alpha pots), and a 5-way pickup selector switch, giving access to all of those legendary S-Style tones, with excellent amounts of clarity.
Other features include a bone nut, a modern two-point tremolo and locking tuners, all there to provide a solid and reliable tuning experience.
The guitar you've been waiting for just became the guitar you can afford.
