Description

The Gordon Smith GS2 Heritage, here in Trans Cherry finish, is a double cut away electric guitar hand-built in the UK by a team of highly skilled luthiers.

Gordon Smith are the UK's longest serving manufacturer of guitars. Based in Northamptonshire, Gordon Smith have been building guitars since 1974, all the while creating an excellent reputation and range of guitars that put hand crafted instruments into the hands of players without breaking the bank!

This GS2 Heritage model is a modern recreation of a classic. Its body is constructed from a thick (44mm) single piece of Brazilian Cedar which is married to a set neck also constructed of Brazilian Cedar. The neck profile has a "chunky" profile that sits comfortably in the hand, and is topped with an ebony fingerboard.

Fitted with a pair or Gordon Smith homewound humbuckers, you have access to a superb range of tones. In the 1970s Gordon Smith pioneered the coil-split humbucker design, and as such, these humbuckers also gives you access to single coil tones via way of a push-pull pot.

This GS2 Heritage gives players access to a UK hand-built guitar,  from a company that has been making guitars since the 70s. Get classic looks, superb build quality and a feel and tone that far surpass its affordable price point.
