Sigma GECE3+ Modern Series Electro Acoustic - Macassar Ebony
This Sigma GECE-3+ Modern Series Electro Acoustic features simple, yet charming aesthetics, with its solid Spruce top married to Macassar Ebony back and sides, set off with body binding, complimenting the bound fingerboard. The Sigma Modern Series has been built from the ground up, delivering quality acoustics for the modern day acoustic guitarist.
Sigma have chosen a European Alpine Solid Spruce top for the GECE3+ which is complemented by Macassar Ebony back and sides for a seriously well rounded frequency response. Paired with the Mahogany neck and Micarta fretboard the overall tone is smooth and deep yet sonically sharp. The 14th fret placement of the neck helps add some brightness to the mix, and the Fishman Flex Plus pickup system discreetly and accurately amplifies the natural acoustic tone for live performance. The ultra-thin UV finish, black Nickel tuning machines with Ebony buttons and tasteful abalone detailing on the rosette, plus the lack of pickguard presents an all round professional look, to compliment your performance without drawing focus away from your playing.
Apart from it's obvious cosmetic charms the Sigma GECE3+ has other key features; a strong, balanced sound, faithful amplified output, single cutaway for upper fret access and a comfortable 44.5mm nut width.
These key focuses, along with its good looks set the GECE3+ Modern Series Electro Acoustic apart from other models, and the result is phenomenal.
