Fender Limited Edition Road Worn Vintera '50s Telecaster
The Limited Edition Fender Vintera Road Worn 50s Telecaster recreates the look and feel of a well-loved original, thanks to its hand-distressed aged finish, pair of 50s Tele pickups and vintage era appointments.
Fender have treated the Vintera Road Worn 50s Tele to a nitrocellulose lacquer finish - loved for its natural tonal qualities (allowing the wood to breathe) and distinct aging patterns. Each guitar is then hand--distressed. making for an authentic looking, aged, broken-in look with plenty of mojo!
A solid alder body features paired with a maple neck with an early '50s U shaped profile, fat yet comfortable, it delivers an authentic feel. The maple fingerboard features a vintage-accurate 7.25" radius and is fitted with 21 vintage frets.
Vintage style 50' single coil pickups (with alnico 2 magnets for the neck pickups and alnico 3 for the bridge pickup), allow for that unmistakable snappy Tele tone with plenty of bite. The pickups are are wired through the traditional combination of a three-way selector switch, a single volume and a single tone control.
A vintage-style Tele bridge with three brass barrel saddles gives this Telecaster it’s characteristic twang, while vintage-style tuning machines provide original-era aesthetics, rock-solid performance and tuning stability.
