Fender Vintera '50s Stratocaster
The Fender Vintera '50s Strat gives you access to the vintage style and authentic tone of Fender's golden era.
Fender launched the Stratocaster way back in 1954 , whereby it became an instant hit. All these years later, the iconic instrument is as popular as ever, being seen, heard and played the world over. Fender's Vintera Series 50s Strat aims to show off these iconic instruments as they were originally intended.
The Vintera '50s Strat features an alder body (ash on the White Blonde finish) with the distinctive double-cutaway design. Paired with body is a maple neck that features a soft V profile that delivers a super comfortable fretting hand feel. A period correct maple fingerboard, with a 7.25" radius is topped 21 vintage style frets and inlaid with black dot position markers.
True to its roots, Fender have loaded the Vintera 50s Strat with a trio of single coil pickups, which have been revoiced to be more 50s-accurate with a bell-like, crisp tone with plenty of clarity. The pickups are wired through the traditional 5-way pickup selector and control layout.
