The Fender American Vintage II 1975 Telecaster Deluxe presents an accurate take on the classic Tele with a twist from the mid '70s. It features a period correct body, neck, and hardware, and hosts meticulously voiced, humbucker pickups to capture the essence of the iconic model in Fender's history.
Originally launched in 72 and billed as the top model in the Tele family, the Telecaster Deluxe was the first solid-body Tele with two humbucker pickups.
True to its roots, this reissue 1975 Tele Deluxe model has an alder body with a contoured belly cut, and set with a large 3-ply pickguard . Married to the body is a comfortable 1975 "C" shaped maple neck with a 7.25" radius fingerboard set with 21 frets and black dot inlays. A large Strat style headstock also features.
The guitar comes loaded with a pair of authentic CuNiFe Wide-Range humbuckers. Fender resurrected CuNiFe magnets, which had been out of production since 1981, an essential element in recreating the sonics of the original. The pickups are wired through master volume and tone controls for each pickup, giving access to a variety or powerful tones not normally associated with a Telecaster.
Other appointments include a 6-Saddle hardtail bridge with stainless steel block saddles, vintage-accurate Tele Deluxe tuners, and a Bullet Style truss rod
The guitar comes complete vintage style black hard case with orange interior.
