Martin D-13E Electro Acoustic Guitar
The Martin D-13E is a dreadnought sized electro acoustic and features all-solid wood construction and Fishman MX-T electronics.
Part of Martin's popular Road Series guitars, the D13E is a great take on the classic Martin dreadnought guitar. Martin have paired a traditional solid Sitka spruce top with a beautiful dark hued (rosewood-esque) siris for back and sides. Combined, this allows the D13E to deliver a clear and balanced tone with that large dreadnought projection and volume.
Married to the body, via a Mortise and Tenon neck joint, is a select hardwood neck that has been shaped into the comfortable Performing Artist profile. A Richlite fingerboard tops the neck and hosts 20 frets and dot inlays.
Not only does the Martin D-13E work great as a straight acoustic, but thanks to the addition of the Fishman MX-T electronics, the amplified tone delivers too. Discreet controls (Volume and Tone) within the soundhole keep things looking neat, whilst the tuner located at the bottom of the soundhole which also mutes the output when engaged, is a great addition.
