We have an on-site workshop that delivers a truly professional repair and maintenance service for guitars, bass, drums, and brass & woodwind instruments. We also have access to the area's leading amp/electronics repairers, so we can facilitate these repairs for you too.
Guitar Repairs
Over the years, our resident technician, Barrie Palmer has repaired and modified countless guitars and basses and is regarded by many as the only sensible choice for your instrument. We have a dedicated workshop onsite at our Harlow store filled with all the specialist tools needed for a truly professional service.
No job is too big or too small, so whether it's a simple clean and restring, total re-fret or GK Synth pickup installation we can accommodate!
Booking your guitar in...
You can drop off your instrument to our store any day during regular opening hours. One of our team will book your guitar into our system, taking all the necessary details, ready to hand it over to Barrie in our workshop.
In addition to workshop repairs carried out during the week, Barrie is also available on Saturdays for urgent repairs, subject to availability. Please contact us on 01279 432900 beforehand to check for availability.

Brass & Woodwind
We also offer an onsite brass and woodwind servicing and repair service. We have invested heavily in all the professional tools and cater for servicing, problem solving, re-padding, re-springs and much more.
As an added benefit to our onsite workshop, we are ideally positioned to offer you the most comprehensive pre and after sales service around. All instruments found for sale in our stores and online, both new and used, undergo vigorous checks and setup procedures to ensure of quality. Plus if you do have a problem, there is always someone on site to help.
Remember that all of our instrument repairs are carried out in-store in our onsite workshop.
