The Fender Jimi Hendrix Strat puts some 'Voodoo Child' signature touches to the classic Stratocaster.
There can't be many artists more famed for playing the classic Fender Strat than Jimi Hendrix. When the left handed Hendrix had to 'flip over' his Strat he inadvertently created some unique twists on the classic guitar, which have been reproduced here in this special signature model - a 'reverse' headstock and 'reverse-slant' bridge pickup.
The 'reverse' headstock produces a longer string length for the bass strings, creating a tighter playing feel along with easier bending and vibrato on the treble strings. A trio of Pure Vintage 65 single coil pickups include the reverse-slant bridge pickup that produces a unique tone with a tight, warm sound with accentuated upper harmonics and definition.
The alder body is joined to a C shaped maple neck, topped with a highly playable 9.5" radius fingerboard - ideal for chordal work whilst allowing for bending work without the fear fretting out.
Commemorating Hendrix's unrivaled legacy, the large 70s-style headstock bears the guitarists signature on the rear. A unique neck plate displays a shoulders-up silhouette of the man himself and the engraved inscription, Authentic Hendrix, leaving no doubt as to the inspiration behind this guitar.
The guitar comes complete with a deluxe Fender gig bag.
