The Limited Edition Fender Vintera Road Worn 70s Telecaster Deluxe recreates the look and feel of a well-loved original, thanks to its hand-distressed aged finish, pair of Wide Rage humbucking pickups and vintage era appointments.
Fender have treated the Vintera Road Worn 70s Tele Deluxe to a nitrocellulose lacquer finish - loved for its natural tonal qualities (allowing the wood to breathe) and distinct aging patterns. Each guitar is then hand--distressed. making for an authentic looking, aged, broken-in look with plenty of mojo!
The guitar features an alder body with the iconic single cutaway. Paired with the body is a maple neck with a Mediun C profile, for an authentic feel. The maple fingerboard features a modern 9.5" radius and is fitted with 21 medium jumbo frets.
Unique to this version of the Tele is the pickup choice. True to its original design, the Road Worn Vintera 70s Tele Deluxe hosts a pair of Wide Range humbuckers, delivering plenty of added power (over a regular Tele) and with good amounts of articulation. The pickups are wired through the traditional combination of a three-way selector switch, a single volume and a single tone control.
Other features include a vintage style 6-saddle (steel) hardtail bridge with string through body design, vintage style tuners, skirted amp knobs and an oversized 3-ply pickguard.
The guitar comes complete with a padded Fender Deluxe gig bag.
