Fender Vintera '60s Jaguar Modified HH

The Fender Vintera '60s Jaguar Modified HH gives you the best of both worlds. It combines vintage style and classic looks with a selection of contemporary appointments, including a a modern neck profile and fingerboard radius, hotter pickups ad updated electronics.

The Vintera '60s Jaguar HH Modified stays true to its roots with its alder body shaped into the distinctive offset design. Things take a contemporary turn with the neck. Satin finished and with a Modern C profile, it feels great in the hand and makes playing faster. The neck is then topped with a modern 9.5" radius pau ferro fingerboard and set with medium jumbo frets, great for chording, soloing and big bends in the upper register. The unique 24" medium scale gives the guitar a unique feel.

Pickups comes in the form of a pair of fat sounding Atomic humbuckers, delivering plenty of power whilst still able to produce excellent amounts of articulation, perfect for modern styles. Things get very interesting with the rest of the electronics department. The master volume and tone controls are joined by two sliders on the lower bout that activate/deactivate each pickup while the third slider activates a “tone cut”. On the top horn the wheels allow for selection of humbucker or single coil modes for each pickups, these are joined by a kill switch.

Fender have moved the tremolo system closer to the bridge (Adjusto-matic) for this model, providing a better break angle and reduces unwanted ringing.

Other appointments include a 3-plymint green pickguard, vintage style tuners and a 4-bolt neck plate.

The guitar comes complete with a padded Fender Deluxe gig bag.
