The Gretsch Professional G6120 Eddie Cochran Hollow Body w/Bigsby in Western Maple Stain is based on the modified guitar that fuelled the rock 'n' roll and rockabilly pioneer Eddie Cochran's career.
The guitar features a classic 6120 maple hollow body with special "open" internal body design, parallel bracing and oversized bound f holes. The body is joined to a maple neck with a comfortable 24.6" scale, which is topped with a 9.5" radius rosewood fingerboard, set with 22 vintage small frets, and Western block inlays of Cactus, Steerheads & Fences.
The unique pickup configuration makes for something a little special; a DynaSonic single-coil bridge pickup and Lindy Fralin "Dogear" single-coil neck pickup, giving access to a wide range of tones all with that distinct Gretsch punch and articulation. The pickups are wired through a 3-way pickup toggle switch, individual pickup volume controls, master tone control and master volume.
Other appointments include a compensated aluminium bridge with rosewood base, a Bigsby B6GBVF tailpiece, gold and polished aluminium hardware, and gold-plated Grover V98G Sta-Tite tuners.
Completing the package is a Gretsch G6241 deluxe hollow body case.
