Gibson Joe Bonamassa ES-335 VOS
Just announced - the Gibson Joe Bonamassa ES335 in Vintage Sunburst VOS which has been produced by the Custom Memphis team to reproduce Joe's very own 1961 ES-335.
The ongoing Joe Bonamassa train just keeps on going, Joe is riding a huge wave of popularity at the moment and rightly so too - he is without doubt, one of the most talked about blues guitarists in recent years.
In addition to his signature Epiphone and Gibson Les Pauls there is now the Gibson Joe Bonamassa ES-335 in Vintage Sunburst VOS, which has been produced by the Custom Memphis team to reproduce Joe's very own 1961 ES-335.
The body is made up of a spliced plain Maple/Poplar/Maple construction that is finished in a Vintage Sunburst VOS treated finish to duplicate the shading of Joe's '61 model.
The attention to detail continues through to the 1 piece Mahogany neck - it copies the profile of his model which just so happens to be .050" thinners than the standard 1959 profile. A Rosewood fingerboard is adorned with the traditional Mother of Pearl dot inlays and 22 frets.
The pickups are two Classic '57 humbuckers that replicates the original PAF models of early Gibsons. They are wired via Bonamassa chosen CTS pots, a 3 way pickup selector switch and the highly sought after 'Bumblebee' capacitors.
