Yamaha YDP143 and YDP163
Yamaha have updated their ever-popular Arius range of digital pianos with the YDP142 and YDP163 models.
The Yamaha YDP-143 and YDP-163 are the latest incarnations of the ever popular models in Yamaha's Arius Series. Taking technologies and design principals from Yamaha's Clavinova pianos, these digital pianos delivers superb value for money.
The YDP143 takes over from the previous YDP142. Delivering, amongst other things, an upgraded improved Pure CF Sound Engine, with its piano sound derived from Yamaha's renowned CF111S concert grand piano, a huge 192 note polphony and iOS connectivity. It's a great piano for the budding student.
Yamaha's YDP163 (supersedes the YDP162) takes things a step further. Not only does it feature the upgraded Pure CF Sound Engine, it also has the new Graded Hammer 3 Action keyboard (with synthetic Ivory feel keytops) for a superior feel and a room filling 2x20w sound system. Again, the YDP163 is a superb option for the student player, but will also appeal to the pro player too.
Yamaha have tweaked the colour options available for both models, with Matte White now available in the YDP143 model (in addition to Rosewood and Black Walnut), and White Ash and Matte White new finish options for the YDP163 model (Rosewood and Black Walnut are also available).
