The Fender American Ultra II Meteora is a bold, eye-catching bass guitar built for bassists who want premium materials, precision craftsmanship and a cutting-edge modern design.
The American Ultra II Meteora Bass features a unique, modern offset body design constructed from select alder body and featuring sculpted body contours. The premium quartersawn maple neck features a Modern D profile and smooth Ultra Satin finish for supreme playability. The Ebony or quartersawn maple (model dependant) 10-14 compound radius fingerboards feature ultra rolled edges, medium-jumbo frets, Luminlay side dots and Graph Tech TUSQ nuts. The tapered neck heel and sculpted body contours allow unparalleled access to the higher register.
Powering the Ultra II Meteora Bass is a pair of Haymaker Bass Humbucker pickups. These pickups, conjunction with the Ultra II Active Bass Preamp with S-1 Switching (active/passive switch), 3-band EQ with switchable Mid frequency, and passive tone control, give you access a massive tonal range, with huge lows, sweet highs and hitting mids...all without any hint of hum!
Other appointments include 4-saddle string-through-body or top loaded Hi-Mass bridge, deluxe flute-shaft tuners, knurled aluminium knobs and 1-ply anodized aluminium pickguard, all adding to the guitar's unique appeal.
