With its block inlays, vintage style pickups and other early 70s appointments, the Fender Vintera III Early 70s Jazz Bass gives you access to vintage recreation of a legendary moment in the Jazz Bass history.
Classic Offset Jazz Bass Body
With its offset double cutaway alder body finished in a selection of classic era finishes, the Vintera III Early 90s Jazz Bass delivers that unmistakeable look. A bass designed for players who demand vintage authenticity without compromise.
Early 70s Jazz Bass Neck Feel and Block Inlays
The body is a married to a maple neck with an early 70s 'C' shaped profile. Comfortable in the hand, you are sure to feel at home whether playing some solid lines down low or hitting some fill and lead lines up top. Topping the neck is a fingerboard with a vintage style 7.25' radius and set with period correct block inlays and 20 frets.
Early 70s Era Pickups
The bass comes fitted with a pair of vintage, early 70s style single coil pickups. Wired through the traditional Volume, Volume, Tone configuration, you have easy access to all of those classic J Bass tones, from the woody punch of the neck pickup to that mid honk of the bridge and those great 'both on' pickup sounds! From slap, to pick to fingerstyle, the Jazz Bass versatility always delivers!
Authentic hardware
Other appointments include a multi-ply pickguard, a vintage-style bridge with threaded steel saddles, and vintage open back tuning machines that offer rock-solid stability with an aesthetic that's straight out of the era.
