The Katana range of guitar amps have been a huge success, and now, with this BOSS Katana MINI guitar combo, you can get access to some of that Katana tone in a portable, battery powered (it can also be mains powered) unit.

Typically, compact, battery powered mini guitars amps have never really delivered on the sound front, but the Katana Mini shuns that theory and produces a full tone that far exceeds expectations. Thanks to its design, with its custom speaker, refined circuitry and carefully selected components, the Katana Mini delivers a sound quality that truly impresses...all whilst being powered by 6 AA batteries...or by using the optional AC adapter.

The all analogue input design features multiple gain stages that drive the 3 sounds on-board, allowing for a truly interactive feel - get distortion that can be controlled by the input volume and how hard you dig in...just like a tube amp. The 3 amp sounds Brown, Crunch and Clean make for a versatile setup, Brown delivers articulate high-gain tones, great for solos and heavy riffs, Crunch is perfect for your classic rock and blues whilst Clean produces crisp, sparkling tones.

You can tweak your sound with the 3-band analogue EQ section - Bass, Middle and Treble and enhance your tone with the on-board tape-style delay. Thanks to the time and level controls you are able to dial in subtle reverb like ambience all the way up to long, warm delay repeats.

Other appointments include the handy AUX input that allows you to plug in your smartphone so that you can jam along with your favourite tracks, whilst the headphone/recording output features a special cabinet voicing for a more pleasing sound experience - get a real mic'd up amp tone.
