Fender established the blueprint for modular guitar design back in 1946, and that spirit of customisation is exactly what you get with the American Professional Classic Jaguar neck.
Built in the same world class facility as the flagship US made instruments, this neck allows you to restore a vintage favourite or give a project a significant professional upgrade.
It is designed to be a versatile workhorse that suits almost any playing style, featuring the popular Modern C profile. This shape is slightly shallower than old fashioned U or V profiles, making it feel ergonomic and natural in the hand from the moment you bolt it on.
The playing experience is defined by a 9.5 inch radius rosewood fingerboard equipped with 22 medium jumbo frets. This combination is a favourite for a reason, as it allows for fluid lead lines and ensures those big bluesy bends do not choke out. To make the neck feel even more premium, the fingerboard edges are hand rolled to provide a broken in feel that usually takes years of playing to achieve.
On the back, a silky smooth satin urethane finish ensures your hand moves freely without sticking, while the headstock face features a classic gloss finish for that authentic Fender aesthetic.
Practicality is also a major factor here. The synthetic bone nut comes pre-slotted with pilot grooves to help you with the final string spacing, and the walnut stripe on the back of the maple adds that unmistakable high end look.
Please keep in mind that since this is a genuine replacement part that has never been mounted, the nut slots will need to be professionally cut and you may need to perform some fret work or minor fitting to ensure a perfect match with your guitar body. Each neck is laser engraved on the heel and serialised, so you know you are getting a genuine piece of Fender history for your instrument.
