The Faith FNCE12EC Eclipse Neptune Cutaway Electro Acoustic Guitar - 12 String is perfect for playing both on stage and at home.
The Body Shape & Tonewood
By combining a solid spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides, Faith have ensured that your unplugged sound has an ideal blend of presence and full-bodied tone - but this guitar truly comes to life once you've plugged it in on stage.
The onyx black finish serves both an aesthetic and practical purpose. Covered with clear lacquer, this finis helps to tame the tonewoods natural resonance to produce a balanced and focussed tone when amplified, while still retaining warmth in the midrange.
In terms of looks, Faith have stuck to their ethos of creating guitars that are not only beautiful, but ethical and sustainable as well. The Eclipse is free from all animal products, with the traditional abalone and mother of pearl rosette and logo materials having been replaced with figured maple. Not only that, but for every guitar sold, Faith plant trees with 'JustOneTree'.
The Fishman INK BODY Electronics
With upgraded onboard electronics (Fishman's INK BODY preamp system), the Faith Eclipse Neptune enhances amplified performance, thanks to the combination of the traditional undersaddle piezo pickup and a body sensor. This allows for much greater note expression, no matter your playing style.
Intuitively dial in the bridge-plate mounted sensor alongside the piezo and under-saddle pickup with a discreet 'body' control knob, located on the Fishman preamp fascia.
