Joining the hugely popular Taylor 200 Series is the Taylor 214CE-K Koa. Taking inspiration from its sister product, the 214CE-K features the Grand Auditorium body shape, a solid Sitka Spruce top, Taylor ES-T electronics plus the addition of Koa laminate back and sides.
The Taylor 214CE-K is built using a Koa laminate for the back and sides - an excellent tonewood with distinctive figuring - and a high quality Solid Sitka Spruce for the top. With its combination of woods the 214CEK delivers clear trebles allowing it to sit perfectly in the mix alongside other instruments.
The Taylor 214CE-K features Taylors best-selling Grand Auditorium body shape, a body shape that fits between a Dreadnought and the smaller Grand Concert - ideal for both finger picking and strumming. Add to this the 214CE-Ks Venetian cutaway and you have a guitar that is extremely popular with guitarists who want one guitar to cover multiple uses.
The Taylor 214CE-K features a solid Sapele neck with an Ebony fretboard fitted with 20 frets. The headstock is finished off with an Indian Rosewood veneer featuring an inlaid Taylor logo. Tuning is kept solid with the addition of high quality, chrome tuners.
