One of the very first solid bodied electric guitars available, the Fender Telecaster is a true icon of the guitar world. The Fender Classic Series '50s Telecaster takes you back to where it all started and lets you rediscover as to why the Tele is such a classic instrument.
Remaining true to Leo Fender's original design, the classic Series '50s Tele features a solid Ash body with the iconic single cutaway, slab design. This is paired with a Maple neck with a comfy 'C' shaped profile. The maple fingerboard features a vintage-accurate 7.25" radius and is fitted with 21 vintage frets. The headstock features the earlier 'spaghetti' Fender logo and is home to a set of 6 vintage style tuners.
The Classic Series '50s Tele delivers its tone with the aid of a pair of vintage single-coil Tele pickups. These are wired through the traditional combination of a three-way selector switch, a single volume and a single tone control. Alongside the combination of woods, the pickups give the Telecaster its unmistakable 'snappy' tone with a great bite to cut through any mix.
Completing its vintage appointments, the Classic Series '50s Tele is fitted with a single ply, 8 hole, white scratchplate and classic 'ashtray' style bridge with three chrome barrel saddles. It also comes with a Fender Deluxe gigbag.
