Hartke
After pioneering a bass amplifier with the first aluminum cone driver in 1985, Hartke had their recipe for revolutionary bass tone.
Larry Hartke and Ron Lorman took this idea and modified an old 810 cabinet that belonged to their friend and bassist Jaco Pastorius. It was after jaco tried the cabinet again that he had to use it for every show.
This pioneering Hartke 810 cabinet spend a lot of it's early life being shared between pro musicians so they could experience the tone and spread the word for themselves. After rapidly gaining a reputation Hartke began mass production of these Aluminium Cone products named the XL cabinets and included the 115XL, 210XL, 410XL, 4.5XL and 810XL models.
Since the first range in 1985 Hartke have gone from strength to strength with their equipment being used by the likes of Jaco, Marcus Miller, Darryl Jones, Jack Bruce, Will Lee and Garry Tallent.
