James Goodey

James has been teaching drums both privately and at music schools since 2012. He has also been a performing drummer for many years and has played up and down the UK at a wide variety of venues from cult music pubs in London to music festivals in Yorkshire. James started playing drums when he was 15 and since then has earned a Grade 8 qualification with Trinity
College. James plays and teaches all styles of music, and is well versed in writing music, learning covers, and recording. His inspirations include the likes of Buddy Rich, Thomas Lang, Keith Moon, and many more. He is constantly inspired by different genres and styles and craves learning new things. James loves passing on his experience, and always brings a cheerful and
patient approach to the lesson.
