Tuition Terms & Conditions
Your Lesson Slot & Teacher
- Lessons are weekly and will go ahead unless the lesson is cancelled by us or you.
- Note that our lessons do NOT follow the school term time table.
- Generally, you will have the same teacher however we may occasionally use a deputy teacher if necessary.
- We use a lesson management system called Timely. You will receive various system generated emails and reminders about your lessons from this system.
Payment
- Lessons are paid for in advance and in packages of four lessons via Direct Debit.
- We only accept payment via direct debit.
- We use GoCardless to setup and manage direct debits.
- A Direct Debit payment will be taken when you run out of lesson credit.
- You will be notified via email when a direct debit payment has been requested. You will generally get approximately 3-4 days notice to inform you when a payment will be taken.
Payment Failures
- If a direct debit payment fails we will attempt to contact you to take the payment.
- If payment is not received promtly your lesson slot will be released.
Lesson Cancellations
- We require a minimum of 48 hours notice to canel a lesson. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will be charged for in full.
- We ask that students attend 80% of thier lessons which we asses this on a rolling ten week basis. Students with excessive cancellations may lose their lesson slot.
- All cancellations must be made via email to tuition@giggear.co.uk.
- If we need to cancel your lesson for any reason we will contact you via email or by telephone. In this instance you will retain the lesson credit on your account.

- In the case of short notice lesson cancellations we will attempt to contact you via telephone.
