Martin D28 2017

The legendary Martin D-28 Acoustic is back for 2017 and this time with a few upgrades!

Thats right, the legend just got even better! The D28 has made a name for itself as the go-to premium instrument for casual home playing pleasures, beautiful studio recording sessions and was of course, ready born for the world stage.

As part of the Martin standard series the updated D28 has been tweaked with precision and care in the most tasteful fashion, still paying homage to every aspect of what makes a Martin a Martin.

The 2017 will see an all new neck profile. The idea behind this transition is to ensure that this timeless classic meets the modern standard of playability and comfort. With all the vintage mojo intact this incarnation of the D28 acoustic has been equipped with a neck that has been moulded into a smooth, modified low oval profile for premium high performance. 

The other big addition to this 2017 edition is a new forward shifted X-bracing design. Selected in aid of progression on an already stunning specification, the forward shifted inner bracing layout means that there is naturally greater vibrations produced from the guitars top which results in increased resonance and sustain.
