Taylor GT Acoustic Guitars
Taylor GT Acoustic guitars...smaller size, bigger sound...serious fun!
Designed from the ground up by Taylor master builder Andy Powers, the Taylor GT guitars (short for Grand Theatre) delivers the playing comfort of a smaller acoustic guitar with a full, rich tone that belies its small frame. The GT really intoduces a new category in the acoustic world with its size, feel and sound.
The GT body borrows the curves of Taylor's Grand Orchestra shape (their largest body shape) and scales it right down for player comfort. The lower bout is similar to the Taylor Grand Concert buts its body length is shorter. The guitars have a 24-1/8" scale length, that sits between a GS Mini and Grand Concert size, this combined with narrow 1-23/32" nut width aids playability.
Featuring all-solid wood construction with Taylor's new C Class bracing, which delivers enchanced volume and sustain whilst accentuating low frequencies, the GT guitars produce a full, rich sound with a wonderfully warm bass response, surprising for its compact size.
On release there are two models in the range the Taylor GT and the electro version, the Taylor GTe.
