Introducing the Danelectro DC59M NOS. Since the late 1950s, This guitar has been used by a plethora of artists over the years, including Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, and Mark Knopfler, and features the modern (hence the M suffix) tuneable, die cast bridge for improved intonation, as well as the classic dual Lipstick pickup configuration - but with an interesting twist!
Danelectro recently discovered a large number of the Lipstick pickups they misplaced 15 years ago... and after listening to them, Danelectro realised they had even more twang and classic bite - whether this was due to the subtly aged magnets or the changes in material used over the years, we're not sure, but for whatever reason, these things sound great! So these pickups have been carefully replicated to bring you that desirable and notorious sound.
Featuring hard top and bottom with a hollow inner chamber this guitar excels in resonance. With its two high-output, high-impedance Lipstick pickups. The Vintage '56 Baritone delivers warmth, clarity, and depth. That provides a nice round tone and it is the perfect addition to anyone's guitar arsenal.
Danelectro have cornered the market with their vintage aesthetics and their unmistakable tone. Iconic, quirky, and fun, Danelectro guitars and basses have been a part of rock 'n' roll history for over 60 years and are still revered for their unique tone and easy playability.
