Fender Player Lead II S/S Electric Guitar
Taking inspiration from its original design, the Fender Lead II electric guitar is a throw back to the original 1979 model. A cool piece of Fender guitar history.
As with the original model, the Lead II features a unique double cutaway body design, giving not only an eye-catching charm, but also aiding easy access to the upper frets. Married to the body is a maple neck carved into the great feeling Modern C profile. The neck is topped with a fretboard set with dot inlays and medium jumbo frets.
Things take a quirky turn with the electronics. Fender have loaded the Lead II models with pair of slanted Player Series single coil pickups, and wired them through dual toggle switches, one for pickup selection and one to phase reverse. Master volume and tone controls then give you master control.
If you want a real alternative Fender and fancy breaking the mould, then the Fender Lead II guitar is a great model to standout out from the crowd!
