The Fender Player II Modified Precision Bass is an active 4-string bass that merges classic design with contemporary features to create an instrument with exceptional playability, legendary looks, and remarkable tonal versatility.
Equipped with a Player II Noiseless Jazz Bass pickup at the bridge, paired with a Player II Modified Precision Bass pickup, the bass is delivers all the classic Fender bass tones. The onboard 3-band EQ system allows you to adjust the bass, midrange, and treble frequencies, giving you easy access to a wide range of sounds. Additionally, the active/passive switching capability enables you to switch between vintage-style and modern tones effortlessly.
The alder body helps the bass deliver extra punch, whilst the comfortable Modern C-shaped maple neck, which is topped with a 9.5" radius fingerboard, has rolled edges for a smooth playing experience. The neck includes 20 medium-jumbo frets, has a synthetic bone nut, and a comfortable 1.625@ nut width.
Other notable features include a four-saddle Fender HiMass bridge, vintage-style black plastic Jazz Bass control knobs, dot inlays, a multi-ply pickguard, and comes complete with a Fender Deluxe Gig Bag.
