Hofner Shorty Guitar

The Hofner Shorty Guitar is an electric guitar made for those times when you need a compact, short scale instrument with a small body for travel situations. The Shorty is constructed using super lightweight Basswood for the body, Maple for the neck and Rosewood for the fingerboard. This combination of tone woods leaves a genuinely satisfying and familiar feeling instrument that any player would enjoy practising or noodling on no matter what their playing style or preferred genre.

The electronics as you might expect have been kept both simple and effective in the form of a single Hofner open humbucker occupying the bridge position. Joining the fat sounding humbucker are a simple duo of knobs made up of tone and volume for basic tone shaping duties. 

They Shorty may be small but quality certainly isn't compromised! The chrome hardware included is reliable and robust including both the set of Nickel tuners and the impressive fixed adjustable tailpiece.
