Taylor 114E Grand Auditorium Electro Acoustic

The Taylor 114E Electro Acoustic guitar features the immensely popular Grand Auditorium body shape and the ES2 pickup system, and it does so at a very affordable price.

Built in a similar way to other 1 series models (110, 110CE, 114), the 114E features a full size, layered walnut back and sides with a high quality Sitka Spruce top. These tone woods, coupled with the Grand Auditorium body shape deliver a range of tones making this guitar incredibly versatile. Bass frequencies are full and gutsy, the midrange has great presence and the trebles sparkle making the 114E great for both finger picking and strumming.

The 114e now features Taylor's new Expression System 2 electronics system. At the heart of the system is Taylor's behind the saddle pickup, which features three uniquely placed pickup sensors that in conjunction Taylor's custom designed professional audio grade preamp conveys the voice of the acoustic guitar whilst capturing more of the guitar's dynamic properties. Controls couldn't be simpler - volume, bass and treble.
