Visually, the Albert Lee AL40 guitar is a unique instrument. Featuring a modern yet retro design, with its sleek angles both in body shape and pickguard style, it has instant appeal, making for a guitar that's a breath of fresh air amongst a world of copycats! The body is carved from mahogany and is married to a hard maple neck that hosts a 9.5 radius jatoba fingerboard and set with 22 narrow frets.
Tonally, the AL40 is a versatile guitar. Loaded with a pair of humbuckers wired through a 5-way selector switch and standard volume/tone controls, you are able to pull out an excellent selection of clean and driven tone to suit most requirements.
