Blackstar Dept. 10 Pedals

Blackstar Dept. 10 Pedals are a new range of valve powered pedals meticulously designed by Blackstar's R&D team.

There are currently 3 pedals in the range, the Boost, Dual Drive and Dual Distortion. All pedals run at over 200v to get that authentic valve amp breakup, but still are able to be powered by a pedalboard friendly 9v 500mA supply - win win!

The Boost pedal is a simple pedal, that ombines a Class A gain stage with a high voltage valve circuit and a passive James-Baxandall EQ. Blackstar say "it's like adding 2 extra hot valve stages to your amp" all with classic organic tone, dynamics and break up that you'd expect from a valve circuit.

The Dual Drive and Dual Distortion are more complex and versatile pedals. As the names suggest, they both feature 2-channels, Blackstar's patented ISF control, low latency USB recording put (perfect as a USB interface), XLR out, and Dept. 10’s proprietary Cab Rig simulator technology - a next-generation DSP speaker simulator.
